When a patient was recently admitted with a severe illness, one Security Officer sensed the need for action. Maintaining his post, he repositioned himself in view of the patient's room. When the patient's condition suddenly became critical, this Officer alerted clinicians for life-saving intervention. Protect patients, visitors, employees and property across our medical and academic campuses, maintaining access control in assigned areas and responding to emergency situations. Help maintain a lawful environment for life saving care.

This is a full-time opportunity covering the day shift from 7 : 00pm3 : 30pm, Monday -Friday, no weekends, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in Bronxville.

Preferred Criteria :

• Bachelor's degree, at least two years of collegiate coursework in criminal justice or a related field, or previous military experience.
• One (1) year security experience.
• Driver's license

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
