Job Details :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This role involves managing a diverse team of professionals in maintaining, repairing, and improving our production machines and equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will also play a key role in ensuring that our operations comply with safety regulations and standards. If you are a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and a passion for continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the maintenance department.

2. Develop, implement, and manage maintenance procedures and processes.

3. Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

4. Ensure all machinery and equipment are in good working condition to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

5. Plan and manage the preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

6. Collaborate with the production team to identify and rectify potential issues before they escalate.

7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

8. Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising on quality.

9. Liaise with suppliers and contractors, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of services and parts.

10. Participate in the planning and execution of major plant improvements and expansions.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.

3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial equipment, and maintenance procedures.

4. Proficiency in using maintenance software and other computer applications.

5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.

7. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the manufacturing industry.

8. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

10. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.
