Leasing Agent - Affordable Housing Job Summary :

Rural Neighborhoods, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit housing and community development organization, seeks a Leasing Agent that will support affordable housing property management of a Rural Development property. To ensure success as Leasing Agent, the individual should display excellent customer service skills and related experience.

The Leasing Agent is responsible for completing income certifications on new applicants to ensure that they income qualify, and on an annual basis to certify compliance, and accepts additional assignments and performs administrative duties.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the Property Manager with property management related duties.
• Performs the income recertification of tenants, conducting a thorough timely review of tenant provided information to identify income and assets while following verification guidelines for verifying information.
• Maintains accurate and organized tenant files.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
