Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours Employment Type : Travel 48 HRS : 36 HRS : Days and NOC available Facility Details : Kaweah Delta Medical Center Visalia, CA, 93291 Charting System : Cerner Trauma Level : 3 Number of Beds : 581 Primary Vendorship – Interviews required Monday Orientations Team Nursing for M / S Floors No modules Compliance due Wednesday before start date Must have over 1 year recent experience in field and have some travel experience Can cancel 1 shift every 4 weeks No local or Fresno HCPs - must be 50 miles away The Critical Care Registered Nurse assumes responsibilityand accountability for the application of the nursing process and the deliveryof patient care in a variety of critical care settings. Consistently performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care. Responsibilities includemonitoring, assessment, vital sign monitoring, ventilator management,medication administration, intravenous insertion and infusion, central linecare, catheters, and maintenance of a running record of the patient’s status.The Critical Care RN must be prepared at all times to perform cardiopulmonaryresuscitation and other lifesaving measures for the patients in their care.
