Job description

Magnolia Manor Assisted Living Facility at Northern Neck Senior Care Community is  Now Hiring a Certified Medication Technician (CMT)!

  • Pay rates : $18-$19 based on experience
  • PRN
  • Health / Dental / Vision Insurance for FT
  • Paid time off for FT
  • Comfortable staffing ratios!

Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Requirements :

  • Active Medication Aide Certification in Virginia
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

    • Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Responsibilities :

  • Administer medications and treatments within the standards of practice as per certification permissions and state regulations.
  • Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per company policies
  • Maintains medication supply, cleans and restocks medicine carts and medicine room.
  • Notifies the pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
  • Performs accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.
  • Maintains current knowledge of medications and investigates unknown medications before administration.

    • Certified Medication Technician (CMT)  may start as early as next week!
