Junior Accountant

Requirements

• Oversee payroll operations to ensure all employee payments are processed accurately and on schedule (semi-monthly and bi-weekly).
• Audit and reconcile payroll data before submitting to HR for review and the CFO for final approval.
• Compile payroll backup and documentation required for CFO approval, including funding and 401(k) support.
• Administer annual bonus and restricted stock vesting payroll runs, along with related journal entries.
• Maintain and update the Salary Expense and Time Allocation tracking spreadsheet.
• Manage time and attendance processing and ensure accurate integration with the payroll system (Constructive).
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation of W-2s, W-2c adjustments, and taxable fringe reporting.
• Collaborate with the HR team (Insperity) on special initiatives and ongoing projects.
• Process and allocate payroll-related invoices and garnishments for payment.
• Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide support on various ad hoc analyses, projects, and reports as needed.
