Job descriptionWork in a hospital-based diagnostic imaging department Perform general ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB, and small parts studies Assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures as needed Rotating shifts are required throughout the assignment Responsibilities include performing and documenting complete ultrasound studies, calibrating equipment, and reporting verbal findings to providers Must demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills Position requires the ability to work without immediate supervision and to maintain confidentiality Will receive cross-training in Echo / Stress Echo and non-invasive vascular exams Active state license required if applicable Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program or equivalent is required ARDMS registration required or ability to obtain within one year of hire BLS certification required within 60 days of hire and must be maintained ARRT(R) registration preferred Hospital experience preferred Experience with non-invasive vascular and echocardiography studies preferred High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
