QA / QC Engineer

Overview

QA / QC Engineer is a permanent role in a manufacturing environment focused on quality systems, process audits, and compliance. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience ensuring products and processes meet internal standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
• Devise sampling procedures and design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Establish programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
• Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and assess cost and responsibility.
• Direct workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
• Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
• Support Quality Assurance activities and participate in the company's continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department.
• Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
• Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company.

Qualifications

Base pay

$90,000.00 / yr - $120,000.00 / yr
