Role Overview :

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will gather and interpret financial information,transforming data into meaningful and concise analyses while considering a broad range ofinterdependent issues. You will identify areas for change, make recommendations, andmanage multiple demands and competing priorities. With a solid financial understandingand the ability to interact with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the integrity offinancial reporting in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This role will support the Nestle Coffee Partners (NCP) Division, which includes NestleUSA's key brands such as Nescafe, Nespresso, Seattle's Best, Starbucks and Blue Bottlewhich are made domestically but also sourced from across the globe.

In this role you will be on a path to become a coffee expert provide reporting and analysison various costs of production such as COGS, FFOH, Depreciation, PPV, PRO, and alsohave a keen oversight on Cost Savings Projects. You will act as a change agent to drivestandardization and improvement of processes and development of reporting toolssupporting the Business Unit Leads, Decision Support teams, and Technical andProduction (T&P) Leadership. Also, you must demonstrate the ability to effectivelycommunicate with multiple customers including Factory Finance Teams, Divisional andBrand Co-Pilots, and other T&P Functions.

You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with counterparts on their Financeteam, as well as all other cross-functional partners, to drive E2E optimization.

Responsibilities :

  • Partner with stakeholders across procurement, contract manufacturing andaffiliates to optimize sourcing and also understand cost drivers and trends
  • Be informed of macro-economic factors that impact the cost of coffee such ascommodity market, tariff and climate
  • Prepare period-end reporting to support and analyze COGS, FFOH, Depreciation,PPV, and PRO - providing valuable insights to key stakeholders
  • Support the creation of Operational Budgets and Dynamic Forecasts. Coordinateanalysis and presentation of results and insights to relevant stakeholders
  • Manage monthly forecasts working with division, Operations Controller and factoryteams
  • Provide insight into the establishment of Cost Savings Targets
  • Consolidate and track actual cost savings performance at a project level monthly
  • Manage, lead, and identify projects related to E2E value chain optimization to drivecost savings
  • Support the updates to Forecasts (Risks & Opportunities) providing insights foroperational cost variances and purchase price variances
  • Drive ad hoc projects related to standardization of reporting, improving internalcontrols, or increasing efficiencies

Requirements :

  • BA / BS with Major or Minor in Accounting or Finance, or BA / BS Degree with relevantcoursework
  • Minimum of 3.5 years of experience in Accounting / Finance
  • Preferred : 1-3 years working in a manufacturing environment or relevant costingexperience
  • Excellent financial analysis sills
  • Ability to communicate across Divisions and with upper levels of management (oral,written)
  • Effectively balances pressures and demands of multiple customers and competingpriorities
  • Consistently challenges current status and shows how things can be improved
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Power Query knowledge well regarded)
  • SAP or other ERP experience and knowledge of Oracle Planning Tools
  • Strong project management skills
  • Analysis, forecasting, budgeting experience
  • Costing and accounting knowledge
