About the team

We are client obsessed - our empathy for our clients sets the bar really high for the products and experiences we create.We are looking for a passionate and skilled Staff Product Designer to work on our Crypto product. In this role, you will be embedded on the Investing team, partnering closely with engineering and product to shape the future of our offering and deliver a high quality product to our clients.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to :

• Own and lead Crypto design, contributing to conversations and direction of the product roadmap and strategy
• Understand the investing needs of our customers, empowering both new and sophisticated crypto investors with the tools and knowledge to make informed decisions.
• Partner closely with engineering, data science and product management to find refined but practical solutions to design challenges.
• Create multiple concepts and prototypes, recognizing when meticulous attention to detail is needed and when low-fidelity sketches are adequate for visualizing ideas.
• Listen to users to develop the right product strategy and find solutions that delight our customers.
• Leverage data to inform your design solutions.
• Understand the strategic direction and vision for your working areas and ensure all UX efforts are aligned with that direction.
• Raise the craft quality bar at Wealthsimple not just through your own work, but through the mentoring and development of Designers in your domain.
• Establish yourself as a subject matter expert in crypto and on-chain technologies, guiding product and design decisions
• Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate innovative solutions into our product design.
