We are currently seeking a Full-Time Solventless Technician to join our Production Team in St. Johns, FL. The Solventless Technician supports day-to-day extraction operations by operating and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and computer-operated solventless extraction systems. This role includes the receiving, pre-processing, extraction, and secure storage of cannabis materials while ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, physically demanding, cold, and highly regulated environment, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency throughout all stages of solventless extraction and refinement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain solventless extraction and refinement equipment used to extract and process cannabis oil.
  • Record all data throughout each step of the extraction process and input required information into extraction spreadsheets, BioTrack, and other regulatory databases.
  • Execute daily operations within the solventless lab including workflow management, extraction tasks, production quotas, and deadlines.
  • Process concentrates and extracts using designated extraction equipment.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of extraction equipment and the laboratory facility in accordance with current SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment; prepare requisitions as needed.
  • Store supplies and equipment properly, dispose of waste according to policy, and maintain clean and organized laboratory, storage, and work areas.
  • Wash, sterilize, and restock laboratory glassware.
  • Perform clerical duties related to laboratory operations such as word processing, record keeping, and filing.
  • Maintain and update safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products.
  • Maintain strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment; document production through required forms, logs, reports, and records.
  • Update, maintain, and accurately record data in BioTrackTHC (seed-to-sale tracking software).
  • Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with implementing company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Adhere to all company, state, and local regulations including security protocols, access procedures, dress code, and schedule requirements.

    While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be exposed to varying temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise levels may range from moderate to loud depending on tasks and equipment in use.

    The employee is regularly exposed to laboratory environments, including wet and / or humid conditions, fluctuating temperatures, and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts. Extraction work may require extended periods in cold environments (4065F) while wearing appropriate PPE.
