As a Senior Manager, Brand Marketing (Seattle's Best Coffee & NESCAFÉ) , you will act as a business owner for your portfolio, driving strategy and execution to deliver profitable growth across foodservice channels. This role combines brand marketing expertise with general management responsibilities, including P&L ownership, channel strategy, and operational excellence. You will leverage insights to optimize end-to-end performance, lead innovation, and create value for operators, distributors, and brokers. In collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and Finance, you will ensure executional excellence of our annual business plans.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Channel Intimacy

  • Develop a deep understanding of operator needs, distributor dynamics, and foodservice trends to inform strategy.
  • Translate insights into actionable programs that drive operator engagement and distributor alignment.
  • Build strong relationships with key foodservice stakeholders to influence purchase decisions and loyalty.

Business Ownership

  • Full P&L accountability for assigned portfolio; deliver revenue, profit, and share targets.
  • Lead monthly business reviews, forecasting, and demand planning to ensure supply continuity and mitigate risk.
  • Drive strategic revenue management (pricing, trade spend, pack architecture) to maximize profitability.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement on sourcing strategies and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Portfolio & Innovation Leadership

  • Own the foodservice product portfolio strategy, including innovation and renovation aligned to operator needs.
  • Collaborate with Culinary and R&D to develop solutions that deliver superior taste, operational efficiency, and value.
  • Manage packaging and formulation changes to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Commercial Excellence

  • Partner with Sales and Broker teams to execute marketing and trade programs across distributor and operator channels.
  • Develop and implement annual commercial plans that integrate product, pricing, placement, and promotion.
  • Analyze promotional effectiveness and recommend optimizations to improve ROI.
  • Lead Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process to align cross-functional teams on execution priorities.
  • Leadership & Talent Development

  • Inspire and lead cross-functional teams and agency partners to deliver high-performance results.
  • Coach and develop direct reports; foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive diversity and inclusion in talent recruitment and development.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years in foodservice marketing, brand management, or general management roles.
  • Strong P&L management experience and financial acumen.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence distributor / broker networks.
  • Expertise in leveraging data (IRI, Nielsen, Circana) for insights and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with frequent travel.
