Columbia County Health System offers a Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program designed to prepare you for a rewarding role in healthcare. Through hands-on training and classroom instruction, participants gain essential skills in patient care and become eligible for state certification. Graduates are equipped to work in hospitals, long-term care, and home health settings.
In this program, you'll learn to take vital signs, handle infectious materials safely, document patient information, and recognize signs of abuse and neglect. Ideal candidates are compassionate, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and eager to grow their skillset.
The following pre-screening requirements will be completed before attending class : Background check with fingerprinting, urinary drug analysis, immunization titers, and TB screening. Class time will not be paid as this opportunity is not an employment agreement.
No prior healthcare experience is necessary. Applicants must complete an interview, meet pre-screening criteria, and fulfill tuition arrangements to be accepted into the program.
