Respiratory Care Practitioner at Providence Portland Medical Center - 0.9 FTE Full-Time, Night Schedule

$8,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible rehires and external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions of payment.

Lyra Caregiver Assistance Program - Up to 25 counseling or coaching sessions per eligible member per year

Perform Respiratory Care Services in accordance with departmental standards, policies and protocols.

MAJOR CHALLENGES:

  • Must be able to readily adapt to a variety of responsibilities.

Patient Population Served: Neonates, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric

Consequently, the employee must be competent in the interpretation of a patient's self-report or behavior, and this information must be interpreted with an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial and chronological maturation process. The treatment of patients should be individualized and should reflect an understanding of the developmental needs and range of treatment needs for each patient.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy. Or equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon hire: Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
  • Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
  • Within 90 days of hire: National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
