Employee Expense Reimbursement Analyst
Employee Expense Reimbursement Analyst duties primarily include the processing of North America's employee expense reports and sub-functions enduring all compliance, procedures, and timeliness commitments are met or exceeded.
Responsibilities :
- Review and perform expense policy compliance on T&E reports for North America.
- Reviews and processes Tier Two service tickets for North America Expense Reimbursement process.
- Review expense reimbursement postings to back-end system and work to resolve posting issues with system support team.
- Support the specialized process of credit entries globally.
- Support the FRS Reconcilement Unit in resolving any outstanding T&E exceptions.
- Operations lead to support trouble shooting and process strengthening between Call Center, Digital Solutions and Operations team.
- Performs daily operational tasks as volumes and service levels dictate.
- Makes compliance related judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information and proposes solutions to direct manager.
- Performs source cause reviews of unit related data and develops action plans to reduce exception levels.
- Applies good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub-function / job family.
- Moderate but direct impact through quality and timeliness of services provided that effect own team and closely related teams.
- Requires attention to detail when making judgments based on the analysis of factual information.
- May occasionally provide informal guidance or on-the-job-training to new team members.
- Performs various accounting functions that are complex in nature pertaining to general ledger and proof of account reconciliation, investigations, complex issue resolution, and financial reporting.
- Serves as subject matter expert within assigned function, and may provide guidance to lower levels.
- Conducts complex research to resolve open issues.
- Communicates with other departments to resolve open issues.
- Incumbent has latitude to decide appropriate action to resolve issues in areas where prior precedence has been established.
- Works with limited supervision and makes decisions within established guidelines.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
