The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Plumbing Manager or Master Plumber with a background in contractor operations and project management who’s ready to take on a broader leadership role. You’ll lead both field and office operations, combining your technical expertise in plumbing design and estimating with your skills in leadership, scheduling, and resource management. Initially, you’ll be active in the field—supervising job sites, coordinating crews, and managing projects. Over time, this position transitions to a strategic General Manager role focused on company growth, process improvement, and long-term leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day operations and manage field teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably. Oversee plumbing design, estimating, and project management from concept to completion. Conduct site visits, review blueprints and project specs, and support job costing and scheduling. Mentor and develop field staff—building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution. Refine and implement operational systems for estimating, billing, and customer communication. Drive business development through improved processes, client retention, and new service offerings. Serve as the Master Plumber of record, ensuring all work meets Wisconsin plumbing codes and regulations. Support strategic growth initiatives, including organic expansion and acquisitions. Qualifications Licensed Master Plumber in Wisconsin (required). 10+ years of plumbing experience, including commercial and residential plumbing projects. Proven track record in plumbing project management, estimating, or design. Leadership experience managing crews or serving as a Field Superintendent or Project Manager. In-depth knowledge of construction operations, plumbing systems, and code compliance. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
