Social Work LCSW

JOB SUMMARY :

The LCSW Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical supervision and mentorship to Master of Social Work (MSW) staff who are seeking clinical licensure (LCSW). This role ensures compliance with Board of Social Work licensure standards while promoting high-quality, ethical, and trauma-informed clinical practice within the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide structured individual and group clinical supervision hours as required for LCSW licensure.

Monitor supervises clinical documentation and casework, offering feedback to support professional development.

Ensure compliance with state licensure regulations and ethical standards.

Assist in evaluating clinical competency and identifying training needs.

Maintain accurate records of supervision hours and topics covered.

Collaborate with department leadership to support quality clinical care delivery.

Serve as a clinical resource and mentor, modeling best practices in client engagement and case management

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION :

Master's degree in Social Work

(MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.

Current, unrestricted LCSW license in applicable state.

Approved by the State Board of Social Work to provide clinical supervision.

Minimum of 3 years post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in healthcare, aging services, behavioral health, or community-based settings.

Experience providing clinical supervision or mentoring MSWs strongly preferred.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS :

All Employees - Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.

Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up to date before engaging in direct participant contact.

Pass a comprehensive criminal background check that may include, but is not limited to, federal and state Medicare / Medicaid exclusion lists, criminal history, education verification, license verification, reference check, and drug screen.
