Night Shift : 3x12 Hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) / Day Shift : 3x12 Hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Job Description

Join our Stepdown Float Pool team, providing critical care nursing in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Stepdown, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, and supporting patients recovering from cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the cardiac stepdown unit.
  • Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms to assess patient conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown experience required; travel experience acceptable.
  • Current Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
  • AHA BLS & ACLS, NIH certifications required.
  • ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments to be completed during orientation.
