Purpose and goals of the function
The HR Manager is responsible for providing strategic guidance and HR leadership and will closely coordinate and work with the CEO / Regional Manager and local Directors of Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance.
Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, processes, and procedures for the company.
- Generalist responsibilities include training, benefits, compensation, and talent acquisition for the company.
- Ensure HR policies are aligned and compliant with organizational and legal standards.
- Work with plant and corporate leadership to ensure HR strategies align with organizational strategy and initiatives.
- Develop and execute employee engagement, retention, and development programs.
- Oversee employee discipline and termination procedures.
- Coach and educate management and other leaders on HR topics (code of conduct, performance management, etc.)
- Develop and uphold the company’s culture and mission / vision.
Competences needed for the position (education, specialist knowledge, work experience)
Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering. Master’s degree in business administration preferred.3 - 5 years of professional experience within high-volume manufacturing environments. Strong generalist background with deep knowledge of legal compliance, employee relations, compensation / benefits, change management, and talent acquisition.High proficiency with HRIS systems.Communicate effectively at all levels.Measured on
