Vice President, Alternative Investments CFO Team
Support the exciting Chief Investment Officers, getting insight into their achievements and challenges, and guiding their strategic success. As the Vice President within the Alternative Investments Chief Financial Officer Team, you will be responsible for managing the financials of a diverse range of products and strategies. You will work closely with the Chief Investment Officers and their teams to provide insights, guidance, and communication regarding their achievements and challenges. In this prominent role, you will utilize your outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities to execute strategic initiatives, reduce business risks, and improve financial performance. This position demands a highly collaborative, quick-thinking, creative, critical, and solution-oriented approach. You will need to seamlessly transition between strategic planning and practical solutions, as well as between high-level concepts and detail-oriented analysis. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance for Asset and Wealth Management Alternatives, you will operate independently as a finance representative while ensuring the team remains informed and engaged. Your daily interactions will involve partnership, apprenticeship, and mentorship, all aimed at promoting the success of the business, the finance team, and its team members.
Job Responsibilities :
- Implement new business strategy, strategic initiatives or platforms, including aligning department and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance)
- Optimize 'bottom line' business performance by driving key initiatives (fees, cost base, RWA and capital utilization)
- Identify, escalate and mitigate business risks that could impair our ability to do business : e.g. legal, tax, regulatory, capacity issues, extraordinary transaction costs
- Analyze financial performance, including expenses; identify productivity initiatives and drive implementation
- Partner with the business, Operations and Technology in the definition of future workflows and implementation of related technology and infrastructure projects to prepare the business to meet the requirements of an ever evolving market structure
- Partner with the relevant external service / infrastructure providers
- Represent in respective internal / external working groups
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills :

Base Pay / Salary New York, NY $128,250.00 - $210,000.00 / year
