American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Level 1 trauma and orthopedic, neuro, and spine experience for a high-acuity surgical team in Ohio.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an 18-bed Operating Room within a Level 1 Trauma CenterCases include General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeriesMaintain surgical patient records using Epic EMRDay and evening shifts available with 8, 10, or 12-hour options, scheduled between 0630-2330Participation in on-call rotation : Monday through Friday 2100-0630 and weekends in 12-hour shiftsResponsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for diverse surgical cases, focusing on Ortho, Neuro, Spine, and General SurgeryClose collaboration with a multidisciplinary surgical team is expectedPreferred experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns casesUrgency in completing Ohio fingerprinting process is required immediately after contract signingHoliday coverage may be required based on departmental needsDress code and orientation details will be provided upon assignmentFirst-time travelers are welcome to apply\n \n Requirements\n
Active OH or compact RN license required at the time of considerationGraduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing programMinimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experienceLevel 1 trauma OR experience and significant scrub experience requiredCurrent BCLS certificationProficiency with Epic EMR requiredTwo recent professional references required, including one from a supervisor, manager, or charge RNPrevious employees must have at least a 6-month break before eligibilityRTO (requested time off) must be declared prior to contractLocal candidates accepted at the same rate\n Benefits\n
