Barista at MOISES BAKERY HB

Moises Bakery Hallandale in Hallandale Beach, FL is looking for one Barista to join our front-of-house team. We are located on 115 E Hallandale Beach Blvd Moises Bakery. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged, if you respect yourself and others, have a positive attitude and like to work in clean food areas we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks like coffee, tea, natural juice
• Welcomes customers by greeting them and offering them assistance.
• Directs customers by escorting them to our order area.
• Advises customers by providing information on products.
• Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and credit cards.
• Use judgment to solve customer problems
• Maintains scheduling commitments, be on time
• Clean tables, displays, and customer common areas
• Restock Merchandise refrigerators, displays, shelves and report low stock to team leader
• Prepare catering, pick-up and delivery orders
• Advice customers on cake or special event requirements, follow up and take orders
• Prepare drinks like coffee, tea, natural juice
• Follow the group clean schedule and complete all weekly task(s) assigned
• Complete opening and closing procedures to start and end every shift.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent verbal skills
• Able to problem solve as issues arise.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience as barista is a plus
• Food safety certification is a plus
• Ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish proficiently.
• Ability to understand and follow English and Spanish instructions.
• Knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.

Training hours: 40 hrs paid without tips

Pay frequency: Semi-monthly
