Occupational Therapist Assistant - PRN

Position Summary :

Under the leadership of the departmental Director and / or Manager, the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) is an active member of the interdisciplinary team providing high-quality patient care. The COTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). The COTA must be able to collaborate with other professional disciplines as well as interact with the patient, family members, and significant others.

Basic Qualifications :

• Education :

Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Up to one year of work-related experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a hospital and / or skilled nursing facility setting preferred.

Requires a current state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Requires a current certification in Basic Life Support.
