Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of recent hospital experience and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital-based MRI unit focused on head / neck, MRA, spine, extremities, joints, abdomen, and breast imaging
  • Utilizes Siemens Sola Fit MRI scanner, injector, and wireless monitoring systems
  • 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with some evening coverage
  • No call required
  • Single-room MRI unit
  • Responsibilities include conducting scans, utilizing injectors and wireless monitoring, and evaluating images for technical quality
  • Must adhere to MRI safety procedures for both staff and patients
  • Local travelers are accepted without pay adjustment regardless of radius
  • References may be requested for consideration

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year recent hospital MRI experience
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Advanced MR registry (ARRT MR) preferred
  • Demonstrated competency with MRI scanners and related safety procedures
  • License required if applicable
