Assembler II-1st Shift

The Assembler II will be based at the Spartanburg Distribution Center located in Duncan, SC. Receive verbal and written instructions from the Supervisor and / or Lead Verify incoming inventory per packing list and work order, check material for damages, or non-conformance, resolve discrepancies and store, stage or modify product Print and verify product labels and carton labels Test manually or electronically the component parts or completed assembly for proper orientation and adjust if required Modify and assemble electrical components Utilize a variety of manual and air powered hand tools Perform basic computer data entry Read and follow basic drawings / schematics for proper modification of component parts Maintain quality workmanship Observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts and maintain clean and orderly work area Perform work of equal or lower classification as needed Adhere to all safety policies Other duties as assigned. High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship Relocation is not provided. Only candidates residing within a 50 mile radius will be considered. Previous forklift experience Position Criteria : Ability to learn on the job, adapt to the changes and become proficient quickly Must have a high level of concentration and close attention to detail Must be responsive to both internal and external customer requests Must be able to communicate in English either in writing and / or verbally Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Good hand / eye coordination
