Electronic Associate :
Pay rate XX30-XX40XX.
Our team is responsible for manufacturing circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Potential for conversion to full time employee.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for building and testing electronic components, using a variety of hand tools and specialized equipment.
You will work with a team to assemble, adjust, and align a variety of assemblies and subassemblies to close tolerance.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following :
Performing soldering, bonding, wiring, routing, riveting, assembly, disassembly, touch-up, rework, cleaning, and minor modifications to assemblies and subassemblies
Working from approved engineering drawings, mechanical blueprints, and quality inspection procedures
Using measuring instruments and equipment to perform visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspections
Maintaining logs, records, and completing required paperwork
Required Experience :
1-2 years of experience with the following certifications : IPC J-Standard-001 CIS (Certified IPC Specialist) for Solder, or IPC / WHMA-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable / Wire Harness Assemblies.
Manufacturing or production experience; including, but not limited to : plated through hole, cable and harness assembly, solder, and surface mount technology.
Must have basic computer skills which includes the ability to navigate Microsoft Office programs, including Power Point, Word and Outlook
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be a US Citizen due to facility requirements
Must pass eye exam to include :
Far Vision : Snellen chart 20 / 50, or better.
Near Vision : Jaeger 1 or .50 meter at 14 inches or better.
Color Perception : Normal as determined by means of standard color plates.
Use of prescription lenses to meet the above vision requirements is permissible. When such lenses are required, the certification records shall so state and such lenses shall be used whenever soldering or inspection is being performed.
