Senior Deployment Engineering Manager

Anduril's Deployment Operations group is seeking a Senior Deployment Engineering Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of deployment engineers to ensure the success and reliability of Anduril's fielded products. You will focus on the reliability, availability, and performance of force protection sensor suites, UAVs, and ground-based air defense systems globally. By bridging the gap between development and operations, you will combine software engineering principles with operational expertise to automate tasks, manage incidents, and enhance system stability. You will collaborate closely with other engineering and operations groups to continually improve and maintain these critical systems. Your responsibilities will include debugging, real-time response, rapid resolution, and root causing complex issues on electro-mechanical systems. You will shape product design changes and software updates based on lessons learned from support efforts. In addition to supporting existing customer solutions, you will work with business development and contracting teams to scope and shape prospective deployments, leveraging your deep understanding of Anduril's product capabilities to craft tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide remote support to field operations groups as they install, operate and maintain Anduril's products
• Troubleshoot complex hardware & software issues, driving short term resolution and identifying long term solutions
• Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure systems are designed and built with reliability in mind
• Drive continuous product improvement by leading post-mortem events involving engineering stakeholders
• Set up and maintain monitoring systems to track system health and performance and define alerts to notify them of potential issues
• Build out data and telemetry infrastructure to monitor systems real time and consolidate fleet metrics
• Compile technical documentation to support customers, filed operations, and engineering
• Travel to customer sites (
• Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
• Lead team meetings and project reviews to ensure alignment and progress towards goals
• Coordinate with senior management to align deployment strategies with organizational objectives

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
