Job Title : Tax Manager

Salary : $130K-$170K / yr DOE
About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a CPA who thrives on tackling complex trust, estate, and nonprofit tax matters while helping to expand the firms client base. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and business-minded, able to deliver exceptional client service while pursuing new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review tax returns for trusts, estates, and nonprofit organizations.
- Advise clients on complex tax planning, compliance, and strategies to minimize tax exposure.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service.
- Collaborate with partners and staff on client engagements, ensuring accuracy and consistency with firm standards.
- Research and interpret federal and state tax laws related to trusts, estates, and exempt organizations.
- Identify and pursue prospects for new business, contributing to the firm's growth.
- Mentor and train staff, reviewing work to ensure technical accuracy and professional development.
Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.B.S. in Accounting or Taxation (Masters degree is a plus)Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience with a concentration in trust, estate, and nonprofit taxation.Strong understanding of fiduciary accounting principles and charitable tax regulations.Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Business development experience or aptitude for cultivating new client relationships.Benefits
