Department : Emergency Room

FTE : Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift : Days

Pay : $18.40 - $27.60 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Summary :

Join a dedicated team at UCHealth and contribute to providing urgent and emergent patient care under the guidance of physicians, physician's assistants, and registered nurses. As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients in need.

Responsibilities :

• Perform technical procedures such as establishing IV access, collecting specimens, providing wound care, and transporting patients.
• Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures including examinations, surgical interventions, and resuscitation efforts.
• Monitor and report abnormal assessment findings or changes in patients' conditions to appropriate medical staff.
• Support patient flow and maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment while working in a fast-paced environment.
