Parc Center for Disabilities’ Bert Muller Home (BMH) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality healthcare services to our residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of those we serve in a residential care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and regulations.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation (MAR, nursing notes, physician orders, infection control reports).Assess residents daily for changes in physical, mental, or neurological status, and arrange follow-up care when needed.
- Deliver first aid or emergency treatment as appropriate.
- Monitor vital signs, weights, diet, hygiene, and overall health of residents.
- Maintain infection control, safety, and compliance throughout the facility.

- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff to ensure coordinated care. Participate in required trainings, meetings, and assessments.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of professional or practical nursing.Current Florida LPN license in good standing.One year of experience in a hospital, nursing home, public health, or similar environment preferred.Experience with individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities is highly desired. Strong organizational, written, and communication skills.Schedule : 9 : 30 PM – 5 : 30 AM, 40 hours per week
