As a Security Professional Unarmed Patrol - Distribution in Hermitage, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a logistics and distribution location. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate : $17.86 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Tuesday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Saturday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sunday 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor access points and control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
  • Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities in and around the location.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports related to daily activities, incidents, and / or observations.
  • Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
