Make Quality Your Mission
At Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S), you’ll safeguard the integrity of mission‑critical defense products from concept through delivery. As our Aerospace Quality Systems Engineer, you’ll own end‑to‑end quality in a multi‑cell integration and test environment at our new East Camden, Arkansas production site. A day in the life
You start on the manufacturing floor, reviewing control plans and visual aids before authorizing work instructions for the next build. By mid-morning, you’re leading a root cause analysis on a non-conformance, mapping out a CAPA that prevents future escapes and reduces Cost of Poor Quality. After lunch, you finalize a First Article Inspection and assemble a PPAP package for a critical component. You wrap the day by updating process capability studies and Gage R&R results, then prepping metrics for tomorrow’s core process review.
