Job descriptionAssist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing therapy services to students with communication disorders in individual, small group, and classroom settings. Implement therapy plans developed by the supervising SLP, targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive / expressive language, and social communication goals. Prepare and organize instructional materials and therapy activities to support student progress. Record accurate and detailed data on student performance and assist in preparing progress reports. Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to all ethical and professional standards. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents under the supervision of the SLP to ensure consistent support across educational environments. Follow all Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and IDEA guidelines in delivering services. Participate in supervision meetings, training sessions, and school team meetings as needed. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program. Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant License issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Must work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations. Professional Development : Receive up to $500 reimbursement toward CEUs, licensing fees, or professional growth opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance offered.
