About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Acruex Health to find a qualified Endo Tech / GI Tech in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, 81601!

Pay Rate: $40.00 - $44.00/Hourly.

Summary: The Endoscopy Technician (GI Tech) supports physicians and nursing staff in the Endoscopy unit by preparing procedure rooms, assisting during endoscopic procedures, and ensuring proper care, cleaning, and high-level disinfection of endoscopic equipment. The GI Tech plays a critical role in maintaining patient safety, infection prevention, and efficient workflow in the endoscopy suite.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare procedure rooms with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment for GI procedures.
• Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy as applicable).
• Position patients and assist with patient monitoring during procedures under supervision.
• Perform cleaning, high-level disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopes and accessories according to facility policy and manufacturer guidelines.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 2 - years of Endo experience is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification.
• Registered with DORA as a CO Surgical Tech, required in Colorado.
