Now Hiring : Control Systems Engineer!!Job Description

The Control Systems Engineer will evaluate existing systems and participate in the design of plant control and instrumentation systems across various industrial applications. You will develop deliverables for industrial, power generation, water / wastewater, and federal projects, focusing on plant control systems design utilizing both Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

Responsibilities

Design plant control systems using Distributed Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.

Develop P&IDs, I / O lists, instrument data sheets, and cable schedules.

Create schematics and wiring diagrams.

Prepare procurement specifications and conduct technical bid evaluations.

Support construction and develop proposal documents, including scope of work and fee estimates.

Prepare reports and determine code requirements.

Manage design budgets and schedules.

Conduct project field site visits as needed.

Recommend department plans, programs, and resources, including staff budgets and capital expenditures.

Recommend hiring, salaries, promotions, transfers, demotions, and terminations of staff members.

Attract, retain, and develop talent within the organization.

Support designated members to identify career development objectives and conduct performance reviews.

Oversee department staff on execution standards, procedures, and policies.

Essential Skills

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited university.

Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience.

Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work legally in the United States for any length of time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Enjoys working in a team environment.

Willingness to travel across the USA for project installation and commissioning support.

Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid work environment with three days remote and two days in the office each week. You can sit out of any of the offices in the central region in the United States.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $165000.00 / yr.
