We’re currently hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for our Pre / Post Operative Unit . This role offers a dynamic schedule of 4–10 hour shifts, starting between 5 : 30 AM and 9 : 00 AM. Nurses in this unit play a vital role in preparing patients for surgery, supporting recovery from anesthesia, and ensuring safe discharge.

We’re looking for candidates with at least 2 years of RN experience . Critical care experience is a plus!
Responsibilities :

2 years RN experience preferred.
BSN preferred
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead others in applying the nursing process
Effective communication and relationship-building skills with staff, departments, and patients / families
Ability to work efficiently in a complex environment with changing priorities and specialized equipment
Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning
Mobility and visual / manual dexterity
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances
UPMC-approved national certification preferred
Current RN license in the state of the facility or a multistate license under the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required within 30 days of hire
Act 34 clearance
Licensure Notes
Employees working under an out-of-state NLC license who relocate to the facility’s state must apply for licensure within 60 days of residency change.
