A surgical technologist role is available in a fast-paced Operating Room located in Girdwood, AK. This opportunity offers a 13-week contract with the potential to engage in a variety of complex surgical procedures. The position requires expertise in assisting with operations using advanced technology and orthopedic techniques, including the Da Vinci Xi robotic system and spinal fusion surgeries. On-call shifts are expected, typically about 5-6 shifts every four weeks.

Responsibilities :

• Assist surgical teams in the preparation and execution of complex procedures, including total joint arthroplasty and multi-level spinal fusions.
• Operate and maintain surgical instruments and advanced equipment, including robotic surgical systems.
• Ensure compliance with sterile techniques and hospital policies to provide safe and effective care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support emergencies and urgent surgical cases.
