Eligible for a Sign-On Bonus of up to $20,000.\nAbout the Role\n\nDeliver comprehensive nursing care by developing diagnoses, establishing objectives, defining interventions, and providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends. Collaborate with the healthcare team, maintain a safe environment, and ensure accurate documentation.\nWhat You Will Do\n
- Provide patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions; communicate the nursing care plan and all pertinent information to other members of the health care team; coordinate with other healthcare providers; provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends; confer with physicians.\n
- Develop nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories; examining patients; documenting physical conditions, psychological status, and influencing social factors; conferring with family and friends; developing a nursing diagnosis; establishing care objectives; defining nursing interventions, schedules, and timetables.\n
- Teach healthcare requirements by establishing patient care goals; instruct patient, family, and friends to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answer questions; provide information and resources.\n
- Evaluate patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring outcomes against standards; reviewing records; noting changing conditions and needs; re-evaluating objectives; modifying plans.\n
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to infection-control policies, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations; adhering to organizational standards, policies, and legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns.\n
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.\n
- Keep equipment operating by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.\n
- Keep supplies ready by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and stocking items.\n
