Job description

Job Type : Full-Time, Permanent

Shift : Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Surgical Unit, which operates within the Med-Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care nursing and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the inpatient surgical unit.
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and provide treatments as required.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare protocols, safety regulations, and infection control policies.
  • Provide support and mentorship to junior staff as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Must hold an active RN license in Florida or a compact RN license.
  • At least 1 year of recent (within the last 4 years) acute care RN experience.
