Job Summary :

Gator Investments is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our team, serving our shopping plazas and retail centers located in Southern Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a diverse range of technical skills and experience in construction, with a focus on property maintenance. Experience with commercial properties is preferred.

In this role, you will perform general maintenance tasks, repairs, and improvements across our four properties located in Swansea, MA; Norton, MA; and Fairhaven, MA.

Key Responsibilities :

• Property Management : Assist with turnkey operations, make vacant units rent-ready in a timely manner, and conduct preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Appliance Repair : Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment safely and effectively.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve MEP issues, handle carpentry repairs, and ensure properties remain in top condition.
• Repairs : Perform minor repairs to walls, ceilings, floors, and fixtures, including drywall patching, painting, and flooring repairs.
• Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, maintenance schedules, and inspections.
