Job Description
Our client is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Colorado to support their growing stormwater and water resources engineering practice. This hands-on, seller-doer role combines technical project delivery with team leadership and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead planning, design, and execution of stormwater and water resources projects, including hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain analysis, BMP design, stream restoration, bridge scour, trail design, MS4 compliance, and water rights
- Manage project teams, budgets, schedules, and quality control
- Oversee construction plans, permitting, and regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and support professional development
- Build and maintain client relationships and support business development
Qualifications :
B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited)10+ years of stormwater / water resources engineering experience with project management responsibilitiesLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado with experience providing engineering services in the stateProficiency with HEC-RAS (1D / 2D), HEC-HMS, CUHP, EPASWMM, HY-8, AutoCAD / Civil3D, and GISExcellent communication, team leadership, and client management skillsPreferred : FEMA LOMC / floodplain mapping experience and construction oversightAbout the Company :
