Job descriptionProvide general cardiology care in an outpatient clinic setting as needed Perform hospital service rounding, consults, and scheduled procedures Respond to calls within 5-10 minutes by phone and be present in person within 30 minutes as required Cover general cardiology hospital rounds during weekends and holidays Participate in ongoing call coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays Board certification in Cardiology required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Must hold or be eligible for a Kansas medical license Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Whether you need long term coverage for your practice, short term vacation coverage, or anything in between – you can trust Barton Associates to provide the flexible staffing solutions your organization needs to thrive. About The Position
We are seeking a well-rounded Cardiologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Kansas, starting Feb 13, 2026. This role offers a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults and rounding, and on-call coverage, with day shifts Monday through Friday and call responsibilities during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
