ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Bakersfield, California.

Job Details :

  • Work night shifts with every other weekend schedule
  • First to float position
  • 3 weeks of orientation required - 1st week classroom, following 2 weeks unit orientation
  • Blend of charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager responsibilities
  • Provide on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care
  • Round on patients and address service or safety concerns
  • Serve as a resource for clinical and interpersonal issues
  • Take charge nurse assignments as needed based on census and staffing levels
  • Support staff and promote positive work environment
  • Must have been charge RN in last assignment
  • No first time travelers accepted
  • Manager interviews required
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS - AHA or APEX
  • Must submit active license
  • Use Cerner charting system
  • BSN not required
  • Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for shorter assignments
