IT Programmer Analyst

Location : Houston, TX

Contract Duration : 88 Weeks

Schedule : Monday–Friday | 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Pay Rate : $75.00 – $80.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Programmer Analyst to provide application and technical support for enterprise systems, with a strong focus on Infor Lawson applications. This role involves moderate to complex analysis, process evaluation, workflow automation, and cross-functional system support to ensure optimal operational effectiveness across Finance, Supply Chain, and Payroll domains.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically proficient, and adaptable—capable of supporting both Lawson and non-Lawson applications as business needs evolve.

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

Ability to support non-Infor Lawson applications as needed

Strong functional knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Payroll

Expertise in Infor Process Automation (IPA) including workflows, notifications, and system integrations

Proficient in application and technical support for Infor Lawson using :

Lawson 4GL

COBOL

SQL

ProcessFlow

Experience creating and maintaining Lawson batch jobs, programs, and scripts to automate business processes across Finance, SCM, and Payroll modules

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Experience with Lawson Design Studio (LDS) , including forms customization, UI enhancements, and JavaScript modifications

Knowledge of non-core Infor Lawson applications such as MSCM, XM, and LBI

Prior experience participating in or supporting Infor Lawson to Oracle Fusion migrations

Key Responsibilities

Perform moderate to complex system and process analysis within assigned functional areas

Monitor application performance and resource utilization

Evaluate business processes and recommend system improvements

Develop, support, and maintain automated workflows and batch processes

Analyze and present historical data and trend reports to support operational decision-making

Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and contractual requirements
