Job Summary

The Mental Health Specialist provides consultation with staff and therapeutic services to students in elementary, middle, junior, or senior high educational settings. The Mental Health Specialist delivers individual and group counseling to clients and completes assessments on identified students, and may provide consultation and professional development programs to staff. The Mental Health Specialist completes weekly communication with the parents and / or guardians of the clients. The Mental Health Specialist will complete clinical documentation of all services.

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counselor Education, or Educational Psychology
• Valid Pennsylvania License as a Social Worker (or licensed-eligible), or PA Certification as a School Counselor or School Psychologist
