Home Health Aide (HHA)

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services, as necessary, to meet the patient's needs. The responsibilities include assisting patients with baths, oral hygiene, dressing and undressing, toileting activities, feeding, and more. The HHA will also take and record vital signs, perform safe transfer and ambulation techniques, and exercise according to the plan of care. Additionally, the role involves performing range of motion and other simple procedures, managing patient's laundry, and ensuring safety needs of patients are met. The HHA must follow the patient's plan of care, communicate effectively with the client, family / caregiver, and office, and observe and document patient condition and report any changes.

Requirements include meeting all training requirements, ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care given, possessing and maintaining current CPR certification, successful completion of Maxim screening examinations, and participation in Maxim's competency program. All federal, state, and local requirements must be met.
