The prestigious medical school in North Carolina is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with additional geriatric qualifications to lead the Geriatric Division. This position involves both patient care in various settings and a strong emphasis on teaching and mentoring residents and students. This prestigious medical school in North Carolina is seeking a Geriatric Division Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for administration and leadership of the geriatric division.

Opportunity Highlights include :

Seeking an innovative, enthusiastic leader who is board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with additional qualifications in Geriatrics
Fixed Term or Tenure Track faculty position at the rank / title of Clinical Assistant Professor Level or higher.
Serve as a member of the department s senior leadership team and set the course for the Geriatrics Division
Patient care in both the ambulatory geriatric clinic and inpatient settings, as well as one continuing care retirement community with skilled care beds
Strong emphasis on teaching, mentoring, advising, supervision of residents, fellows, medical students, and other learners in Geriatrics
Opportunities to develop administrative and scholarship skills
