Pay : $40k-$75k
Overview : The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics coordination, and fleet management at Belt Tech Industrial’s Lebanon, Tennessee location. This position ensures that all materials, tools, and equipment are properly received, stored, tracked, and distributed to support field service crews and customer demands. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, hands-on leadership, and the ability to maintain accurate records and efficient workflows
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient organization, accuracy, and compliance with company procedures.
- Perform and manage all computer-based inventory and order processing tasks, including tracking conveyor belts that are cut, dated, and linked to specific sales orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, preventing unauthorized use or removal of materials.
- Coordinate closely with the inside sales team to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and service needs.
- Work in coordination with the Indiana branch to manage transfers, deliveries, and logistics between locations.
- Remain on-site to receive deliveries, inspect materials, and ensure accurate documentation of incoming shipments.
- Oversee fleet management activities, including scheduling maintenance, inspections, and vehicle readiness.
- Receive work tickets, direct cutting operations, and ensure that orders are accurately and promptly fulfilled.
- Stage crew vehicles with the appropriate tools, materials, and equipment prior to dispatch.
- Manage warehouse tools and materials, ensuring they are properly maintained, organized, and accounted for.
- Perform or assist with maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment, including slitters and forklifts, and ensure quality control in all warehouse operations.
- Regularly adjust and reconcile inventory to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the procurement department to coordinate material needs and replenishment
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management; supervisory experience preferred.Strong working knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse best practices.Proficiency with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and inventory management tools.Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to operate and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment safely.Basic mechanical aptitude and maintenance capability for warehouse machinery such as slitters and forklifts.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to safety, accuracy, and efficiency in all warehouse operations
