This position is responsible for performing all duties required on the barges and dock when the facility is in operation.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean / maintain the facility
- Must be able to run dozer / front end loader / mobile equipment
- Checking and pumping barges
- Working with lines and wire rope in the movement of the barges
- Learn duties of other positions at this facility such as loading barges
- Must be compliant and willing to move to different tasks as needed
- Perform Deckhand responsibilities / gauging barges / fleeting barges / maintaining fleet
- Other general labor functions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work safe, required
