- Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions to enhance communication skills.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
- Educate families on strategies to support their child's communication development at home.
- Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience is preferred, particularly with pediatric patients.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with early intervention practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
